Support the Work

This research is self-funded from personal savings. There is no venture capital, no corporate sponsor, no strings. If what we're building matters to you, here is how to help keep it going.

What Donations Fund

Every dollar goes to the mission. There is no paid staff, no office, no marketing budget. The Steward works unpaid. The Council deliberates without fee. What costs money is the infrastructure that makes the research possible and the technology free.

Ways to Give

Sustainer any amount · one-time or recurring

Every contribution matters. There is no minimum. A dollar buys compute time. Ten keeps the servers running another day. This is how commons are built — one small decision at a time.

Patron $50/month or $500/year

Patrons receive quarterly research updates directly from the Steward — honest status, not marketing. What worked, what didn't, what's next. Your name listed as a patron of the commons, if you wish it.

Benefactor $1,000+

Benefactors fund named research milestones. Each contribution is acknowledged in the public record alongside the work it made possible. You are building the commons with us, and the record will show it.

Hardware Sponsor equipment or compute grants

AGI for the home requires home hardware. If you manufacture, distribute, or have access to compute equipment — GPUs, development boards, testing platforms — hardware contributions directly accelerate the timeline.

Where We Are Right Now

All operations are currently funded from the Steward's personal retirement savings. This is stated plainly because you deserve honesty, not a pitch. The research is real. The technology works. The architecture is publishing results now. What's missing is the runway to keep going without one person bearing the full cost.

We don't need much. We need enough to keep the lights on, the GPUs warm, and the technology free. That's the whole ask.

What We Will Never Do

Sell your data. Show you ads. Gate features behind payments. Require a subscription for home use. Accept funding with conditions attached. Change the mission to satisfy a donor. These are not aspirations — they are structural commitments governed by the Council and published in the public record.

Accountability

The Council of Philosophers and Ethics Board oversees all organizational decisions, including how funds are used. Every significant expenditure is reviewed. Every decision is published in the public record. If you give money to this organization, eight independent ethical voices are watching how it gets spent.

This isn't charity in the usual sense.
It's infrastructure for a future where intelligence belongs to everyone.
If that future matters to you, help us build it.
